According to this source, all the 499 Ferrari LaFerrari’s are being recalled and the reason being speculated is a potential fire hazard. Ferrari are calling out to all the customers and stating that the reason for recall is a paint problem. The customers are being told that a particular part of the hybrid hypercar needs a repaint. The customers are not allowed to talk about this new maintenance procedure.
The noticeable change is the additional electrical non-conducting coating given to the fuel tank. Ferrari are denying a worldwide recall of the LaFerrari and are mentioning this occurrence as a mere regular maintenance where the fuel tank is undergoing some minute adjustments. Reports are coming in that an additional electrical non-conducting coating has been given to the tank which points out to minimising the fire outbreak.
To make things more suspicious, there were reports of a LaFerrari catching fire in Italy last summer.

In a nutshell, that's pretty quick. Quicker than both the Porsche 918 Spyder and Bugatti Veyron Supersport we tested.
Given these numbers, we assume that when you connect a VBOX to the Ferrari FXX K, a Wookiee in a Scuderia Ferrari firesuit magically appears in the passenger seat and the car simply makes the jump to hyperspace.

How important is the center of gravity? Ferrari presented a graph of the relationship between the height of the center of gravity (CG) and the horsepower required to compensate for a higher CG. A 1.2-inch drop in CG has the same effect on Fiorano lap times as adding 50 horsepower. The message from an Italian power broker? Power actually isn’t everything.
